Hungry Students Can't Learn!

Help me give my students snacks (pretzels, crackers, chips, etc) so that my students can learn without being hungry and have the right mindset to learn!

My Project

My students are amazing 4th-7th grade students in an inclusive classroom. This year, we have new middle school teachers, new curriculums, and a new master schedule for the school. All this change since last year is causing students to feel overwhelmed. In addition, my special education students have difficulties focusing for long periods of time and need breaks to get up and move around. Having quick snack breaks allows the students a few minutes to stop, refocus, and get up and move before being ready to work again. In addition, I have students who come to school hungry because they didn't eat at home and didn't get to school in time to have breakfast.

All students deserve to learn in the best way that they can and I want my students to have all the tools necessary for them to have a successful year.

By giving my students snacks of crackers, bars, snack mixes, etc., you are allowing them to learn the way they need to and be the best students that they can be. These snacks get my students reenergized and ready to work again to the best of their abilities to get their brains moving.
