My Project

Many students and their families are still struggling to provide healthy food. Students are back at school all day and when they go home, many do not have healthy snacks at home. Their families are still struggling to put food on the table because their parents were laid off or lost their jobs.

Students depend on the "Grab and Go Meals" provided by our district.

I am requesting a variety of snacks like nuts and crackers for them to take home. The thermos tumbler will be used to serve hot cocoa to students. Some students bring reusable water bottles and need a cap to keep germs and dirt away from their drinks. My students need to fuel their brains after learning all day with me. I want them to be able to have snacks available so they can focus on their learning rather than their stomach growling.

No one, especially children, should go hungry.
