My Project
The students I work closely with come into my workspace for support, encouragement, academic and emotional assistance. Sometimes it is as simple as providing a snack or some sour or sweet candy that increases focusing, like peppermints or gum. Or it’s a quick snack to manage hunger in the Algebra 2 class before lunch. Chewy options like gum and Starburst or tangy Jolly Ranchers work great for this discreet support to improve focusing. These tools make the biggest difference some days. Please help me fund this recurring project which typically comes out of my own pocket!
