My Project
I teach second grade, so we have a full day of learning. Sometimes we need a little snack to help us stay focused.
This project is for snacks to help keep my students full and focused.
It is very hard for students to focus when they are hungry. My students receive free breakfast and lunch, but sometimes picky appetites and late arrivals prevent them from being full. The storage bins will allow me to store the snacks and be easily accessible for students when needed.
Some of my students are food insecure, meaning food at home is not always guaranteed. We keep a collection of snacks in the classroom, but sometimes we run out. This project would allow my students always to have access to snacks when needed.
