Reading is a part of our everyday life! Unfornatuely, this is a skill that many students struggle. In addition to the struggling to read, it is not longer fun and enjoyable. I was a struggling reader myself and hated to read. However, I had a third grade teacher, who made books come alive and enjoyable. She help me find my love for reading and now I wish to do the same for my students. I plan to use the items to create a reading nook in my classroom. This unique area in my classroom, will allow students to sit and enjoy reading books they have selected from the classroom library. The cushions will allow flexible seating!
