My Project

Your help is needed to purchase copies of The Hunger Games. Our nearly 300 eighth graders read these novels together which creates a culture of literacy and a community of readers sharing the same experience. Our population is growing which means we need more copies, and we will also replace damaged and lost books. We teach meaningful and age-appropriate themes of tolerance, diversity, identity, and self-worth with these texts. Many students say these are their favorite books they've ever read in school so we don't want them to miss out!
