Hungry for Headphones

My students need headphones to help them with their computer programs. These headphones will also help students on their end of year tests.

My Students

A typical day in my classroom involves many hands-on activities. It is very important for students to apply what they are learning in a variety of different ways.

I teach 4th grade in a Title 1 school.

My school has a high percentage of free and reduced lunch. We have great parents who are supportive of their children, but are unable to donate many supplies that are needed. My school also has many activities that help to involve the community.

My Project

These headphones will allow my students an extra tool to help them be successful on the end of year tests. The students will be able to hear and understand what is being asked of them on the computer.

Students with the proper tools excel further than those without.

With these headphones the students will be able to take their education further on their online programs. Each day the students have the program iReady they have to work on. This program allows the students to work at their own level and pace. These headphones will allow the students to make more progress than without.
