This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Around 1pm every day someone asks, "Is it lunch time yet?" My response, "You've had lunch already and it is now time for Math. We love math they respond, but we're hungry! I love that my students are eager to learn. It breaks my heart that they become hungry throughout the day, so since the beginning of the school year, I've been bringing snacks in for those that don't have their own. It has gotten costly and I could use your help.

The snack like juice pouch, fruit snacks, goldfish crackers and granola bars listed in this project will ensure that my students have access to an afternoon snack in our pre-kindergarten classroom!

It is hard for a student to learn when they're hungry. Your generous donations will also go towards a storage organizer to keep the student's snacks in a hygienic accessible place for them in our classroom.
