Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach in a title one school, where many students come to class hungry, and in need of food. Many students come in late, and therefore they miss our potential breakfast time.
Please help me provide snacks for my students to send home with them, or so they can eat when they come in to class.
A student cannot fully focus in their learning, if their tummies are growling and hurting.
Many students are tired and have low energy when they are hungry. It is a basic need that is not being met.
