Hunger Decreases Student Focus and Participation

Help me give my students from at-risk households the chance to focus on learning, by eliminating hunger from their time at school.

My Project

As an educator, I know that being a teenager comes with many distractions; but hunger shouldn't be one of them. When a child is hungry, it is difficult for them to do their best and be their best. A snack between meals can prevent major hunger pangs and helps to give students an energy boost to keep them focused on their work. My students are noticeably more engaged in their work and less disruptive of their peers when they are not hungry.

Your donations of water and fun, healthy, delicious snacks like nuts, cookies, fruit snacks, chips & assorted snack mixes, will allow me to provide any hungry student with a hunger-free zone.

Please help me keep my students healthy and vital. The water and snacks that I am requesting for my students already have a "home." In other words, I know exactly where everything will go and exactly how it will be distributed and used weekly. I just need your help in getting everything through our door!
