This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students use tablets as a learning stations for research and support of lessons. They work independently and in groups.
My students come from all over the city.
Many start their day at 5:30 am, taking 2 public transportation buses to arrive to school by 8:15.
Our students have an accelerated curriculum with a medical infusion. Our students want to go into the medical profession. Many seek the vetrtinarian sciences, thus the interest in this project. Other supported projects donated tablets, students want to protect those generous gifts with protective covers.
My Project
Tablets will have better durability when handled by students and community. Many of the tablets are used on distribution day and handled by hundreds of residents and students. These protective covers will protect the tablets and make usage durable.
Students will be able to store tablets without fear of scratching or cracking the tablet. Piece of mind with the added protection of the cover puts every one at ease.
This project assists with student monitoring, securing of devices as well as organization and protecting tablets.
This project prepares them for the future and teaches responsibility.
