This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My group of 7th graders are super sweet and overachievers. They will do whatever it takes to get the A,, but they have very limited resources at home and at school. The district provides us with the basic supplies, but that's not enough for fun science projects.

My Project

We are currently learning about the human body systems. By using a human body model, students will be able to visualize the body systems and understand how one is connected with the other.

Students will have a chance to demonstrate learning through hands-on activities which we will be doing the next few months of school.

The first project I have assigned is the pasta skeleton. Using pasta noodles, students will use construction paper to glue together their pasta skeleton. I'll also need school supplies for my students since most of their families can't provide for them.
