My Students
My students are so kind and energetic and just love to play and be active. They are so helpful and love PE!
I also have a very large population of special needs children and the new hula hoops would be awesome for them and learning how to roll them, build with them and roll objects into work very well.
The joy they bring and excitement they display for PE is contagious and the things they are able to do is so rewarding.
My Project
I am asking for kick balls, playground balls and two dozen no-kink hoops (hula). These materials will make a huge difference and bring such joy and excitement over equipment that doesn't involve electronics. This new, simple equipment along with some new games and ideas were so cool.
I learned about these simple, non-tech materials while at a PE meeting and thought of my kids and how much fun they would have.
It gets very hot here in Florida and we don't have a gym and these games will be perfect for those hot days but still incorporate teamwork, strategy and cooperation. I have a very large special needs population and these will be a great asset for them as well.
