Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My fourth graders are a very energetic, hard-working, multi-talented, varied learning-styled group who love hands-on learning. Many of them are first and second generation immigrants from around the globe!

Our school is located in Jackson Heights, Queens, New York.

Many of my students speak a language other than English at home. They are dual language learners (Spanish and English), who eagerly attend school in person, and online!

My Project

My students need a color printer to support their learning in school and at home. Since they are only in attendance, in the physical school building, a few days a week, copies of things need to be printed and created more spontaneously.

With a color printer, their anchor charts, work from google classroom and even pictures will be printable with the click of a button!

No longer will we only have the option of black and white copies, but we will be able to print in color! This will be a huge help to the English Language Learners and visual learners in our class!
