This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

""Underprivileged and no money." That's what my students are. They are the most excited 4th grade students. They want to learn and I want to teach them. They deserve to have some new tools to learn with. Learning should be fun. That way students do not even realize they are learning. My students need to be exposed to a higher level way of thinking. Taking a serious subject like reading and turning it into a fun, relaxing activity is an awesome way to teach and learn. Teaching in NYC has one major downfall: lack of money. Ideas blossom all around me from inside my students heads. They come up with these great ideas like this one and I try my best to make it reality.

Technolgy is expensive. We don't have enough. Teaching fourth graders technology and not having enough computers readily available is hard. They all want to use one, but I only have 2 working computers for 22 students.

Having one HP computer will allow more students to research, use the initernet, type, and play games. They will be able to use technology that they do not have at home. 75% of my students do not have computers at home so I feel like it is the perfect thing to try to get them involved in at school.

Please help bring technology to us. We cannot afford it otherwise. You will be changing the lives of many children.
