My Students
I will be teaching first grade students, ages 6-7. Students need a lot of joy and opportunity to move to stay engaged and on task. I gave my students the theme of Superhero's because I want them to take in and embody all the characteristics of one!
I want my students to feel as individuals in our community of hero's.
As an individual, I want them to learn and grow within themselves and eventually contribute to the class as a whole.
My Project
As a first year self-contained teacher, I want to make sure my students and myself are both prepared for the year ahead! Not only do students need everyday school supplies, but they also need tools to help them learn organization skills.
Please help me in supplying our room with necessities to succeed as well as some goodies for when All 25 of my Hero's meet their goals!
My Howard University Hero's will be learning reading, math, science, and social studies, as well as a number of social and emotional skills. These materials will enable me to meet the various learning styles of my students as well as add flair and differentiation to each day.
