Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I love my third grade students! They are an energetic, competitive, and caring group of kids that love to be challenged. My third graders are globally minded and always looking for ways to impact the world around them. My kids enjoy asking questions, researching the answers, and presenting their research in a variety of ways.

Inquiry is the basis of our classroom, and students satisfy their curiosity through research using books, technology, and hands on discovery.

They are passionate learners eager to investigate the world around them, always looking for ways to better it.

My Project

We will use these durable seat sacks to organize each kid's supplies. The students stay in this classroom all day because we are self contained. These third graders struggle with where to keep their books, journals, and all their supplies.

The seat back pockets are a great way to organize their necessities with easy access to their supplies.

We are an inquiry-based and student driven classroom, so we work on independence and responsibility in order to be globally-minded citizens. The seat pockets really help the kids learn how to organize themselves so that they are ready to learn every day.
