Help me give my students the opportunity to investigate and explore the wonders of science. These selected items will allow them to engage in experiments to examine different measurements of ingredients.
I am a proud educator of 7 unique students with an educational diagnosis of Autism. My students ranges from kindergarten to fifth grade. The class is made up of one female and six males. They are all verbal, however, one of my male students have very limited vocabulary and requires assistance when engaging in all academics, as well as when having to navigate throughout the school building.
My students get very excited when learning new concepts.
They enjoy learning with visual aids and the usage of interactive experiences to better understand the new concept being presented.
My students also love to show what they've learned when we get visitors in the classroom.
My Project
My students are beginning to explore in how to measure certain materials (liquids) in preparing and constructing a volcano. The materials that are being requested will allow them to participate and be protected while engaging in the project. The usage to the chart stand will enable me to write and draw the information needed so that the students can visually see what , and how much ingredients is needed to perform the task. The students will also be able to interact with their peers and share in their discovery. This activity will also enhance the students to ask questions and they move through steps of the measuring and using the equipment in a safe and proper manner.
