My Project
In this STEM project, students will follow the engineer design process to make the PERFECT pancake. They are going to learn how a culinary scientist's role is important in writing recipes to produce meals that are nutritious, tasty, and look good to eat. Who doesn't love a good pancake in science class??
This project will help students complete different tasks, such as researching, designing, and testing out their materials, to help them design the perfect pancake!
In our 5th grade science curriculum, we explore the properties of matters thorough physical and chemical changes. This STEM project will allow students to see the differences between solid, liquid, and gases. In addition they will understand hoe mixtures and solutions change in mass.
