This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students have a passion for drawing. They cannot wait to grab How to Draw books and paper! We don't have very many books so students have to share or pick another activity if all the drawing books are being used. We would love to have a How to Draw library with enough books for everyone to use!
My students are excited about art!
They come ready to create masterpieces every day. We have a great group of students that motivate and support each other in and outside of the classroom. Most of my students do not have many art supplies at home so they love being able to express their creativity in the art room!
My Project
The "How to Draw" books and drawing pencils will be used to start a drawing library. It will be a center in the classroom where students can independently practice their drawing skills following step by step directions from the books. We currently have about 10 drawing books but students have to share and are constantly asking for more! We would love to have enough books for everyone to use!
The "How to Draw" books and pencils will improve the drawing skills of all my students.
Continued practiced makes all the difference in their art development. The books engage every learner because the books have such a wide range of images to choose from. They cannot get enough of the "How to Draw" books!
