How the Student Becomes the Teacher!

Help me give my students a laptop, speakers and other resources for a new style of teaching to increase their academic experience.

My Project

I recently went to a teacher's conference and was blown away with how this school taught and the amazing outcome. Every student is engaged in the lesson. They taught in a different style that speaks to the students. I plan to make some new changes in my classroom that benefit my students in a way that help them become even more successful.

I plan to use social and emotional teaching in every subject so they can build their self-confidence.

I plan to change the way the students answer questions in class and interact with each other during class work. This new teaching includes an extra laptop on a moveable stand desk that students will be able to use as a way to double-check their work and also to help other students with their work.

I want to include more music in the room, it's been proven that students learn better if it involves a catchy song or chant so the speakers will be used for the added music to their day to day classroom environment.

I plan to use the dry erase markers as a new method for answering questions. Each student will have two markers, if they are answer an answer in classroom they write the answer in black if they know how to solve the problem but if they don't then they use the other color.

I plan to use the Emotion Plush Toys as a way to let the students let out stress. If they are having tough day they pick that emotion toy and the goal is to change that emotion toy within ten minutes. Every time they squeeze it I want them to think of letting go of what's bothering them until they have let go completely.
