How Sweet It Is to Learn!

Help me give my students resources such as crayons, an electric pencil sharpener, pencils, and snacks to help increase my students' work ethics and self confidence.

My Project

I am engaging my students through social-emotional learning and restorative practices. My students deserve the best, and I want to provide more consistent support to all of my students. Currently I provide additional support to my primary students but would like to extend the same courtesy to my intermediate and middle school students. Your support is always appreciated and makes a profound impact on my students' academic and social-emotional well-being.

These resources will help cultivate important caring relationships with the items listed in this project.

During our talking circles we usually discuss important issues over snacks which helps students feel more comfortable and safe and provides a supportive environment. Writing and drawing is also another activity used to combat the mental health crisis, and these crayons, pencils, and pencil sharpener will help with that.

These materials and resources are intended to support our SEL program which is linked to decreased emotional distress, more positive attitudes about self and others, and fewer externalizing behaviors and discipline problems. My students deserve the best, and I thank you so much for your support in advance.
