My Students
If you want to see terrific kids, help fund our project and see the pictures of my class. These children are so fun-loving and full of life. Each day they come to class not only are they learning I am also learning new things from them.
Many of these children come from low-income homes.
It is very hard for them to get supplies and items they need to help them in life. They deserve to have the very best. They attend a wonderful school; however, like many schools money has become an issue.
My Project
A few months ago I didn't even know what a Fitbit was. Many of my children talk about these things regularly. When I asked the children about the FitBits they told me it tells you how many steps you walk. Each person had a goal of steps to hit every day.
The children asked if we could get a few of them for the classroom and for outdoor play time.
I told them about DonorsChoose, and they were very excited to hear that I would write a proposal for them. A Fitbit is a great way for children to keep track of their exercise every day and help them stay healthy.
