How Do Bats Live?

Help me give my students a great day of adventure living in a bat cave for a school day.

My Project

My students are the best! They work so hard each day and they are getting so prepared for 1st grade, they make me proud every day. The class loves to do hands-on activities and we love to have fun learning. This project is so special because it will help me turn my class into a bat cave for a few days. The students will experience how bats live in dark caves and other facts about bats. Using these materials will help the students be more engaged in the learning process and get excited to come to school and be a part of the activities and learning lessons planned. The class will have to use the mini flashlights to get their work done, and they will have to work quietly because we don't want to wake up the bats until it is time. They will work together in centers to label bats, count bats, write about bats, and learn as much as they can about bats. We still use our district's curriculum and add the bat theme with the lesson.
