My students need 21 laptops to use during classroom instruction.
The funds will be used to buy computer equipment to support improved student outcomes in computer science and improve student learning outcomes.
Our school is a Title I school.
Escalante has 88% of its student population as part of a minority group. There are 85.7% of the student population that are economically disadvantaged. The need for technology in our school is great, as many of our students do not have access to technology in their homes.
Students will have the ability to have laptops in their classroom. This will help improve student learning outcomes, as many educational programs are computer-based. The students will be able to access many of these programs through the use of the laptops to help close the achievement gap in the school.
The donations for the project will help improve student learning outcomes as well as help close the achievement gap through the use of technology in the classroom.
This will help change students' ability to be more tech savvy and prepare them for the 21st century world we live in.
DonorsChoose makes it easy for anyone to help a classroom in need. Public school teachers from every corner of America create classroom project requests, and you can give any amount to the project that inspires you.
