My Students

We are an amazing, vibrant collection of enthusiastic artists in a Title I inner-city, coastal Connecticut community where 100% of our students receive free lunch and there never seems to be an end to other urgent needs.

We welcome many immigrants and transient families to our community and engage students as they navigate every kind of emotional and social challenge that you can imagine.

Economic need is high, but creative passion is even higher! Please help our creative and talented students touch the wonderful materials they need to thrive and explore.

My Project

We have been dripping and flipping up a storm of hotcakes on Fridays for our extremely worthy inner-city kids. The cold of winter can burn a lot of calories for young growing bodies and hunger always seems to be a challenge for our community. We would love to continue our art room cafe and student-run in-class delivery service on Fridays, but we are running out of mix. Please help feed the future. We stand with spatulas and forks at the ready! Be the force that puts the P back in C-HOP (Curiale House of Pancakes). Homemade food, cooked with love coming to a happy child thanks to you.
