My Students
Our math scores are showing students need more math review in the classroom.
My students work hard and are amazing.
They are a diverse group of learners who bring unique experiences to the classroom. My students will be moving to middle school next year, and need to show mastery in math in order to reach the classroom level they need.
My Project
Hot Dots are a simple way to review basic math concepts everyday. I have requested Hot Dots Math Review Cards and Hot Dots pens to increase my students' math mastery. These resources will ensure that my students are able to learn the most in a short period of time.
Our current math program does not allow for the spiral learning that must take place for my students to achieve mastery. As the test approaches, students do very well on the concepts they were most recently taught, but show the least retention of knowledge in concepts from the beginning of the year.
My students want to do well and this project would allow for this!
Many students experience the pressure to do well. This resource would help students achieve mastery without the pressures of testing. Help my students do their best!
