Our school was damaged in the March tornado in Moore, OK. This is the second time to rebuild my classroom in the last three years.
My children are energetic, hopeful and eager-to-learn first graders.
My children come to school with a smile on their face but unfortunately had to experience life-changing, traumatic events that no first grader should have to endure because of the damage to their neighborhood.
My Project
My children will be able to sit in their seats but still be able to move and wiggle. Little ones are expected to move more today than ever. Having these stools in the classroom allows them to be able to adjust their alignment and wiggle but still stay focused on what is being taught by the teacher or working on the task at hand.
Using the Hokki stools, my children will be able to focus on their tasks for longer periods of time.
The stools will provide wiggle time for my children. It is important to pace young learners lessons in short time periods yet some children still struggle. Hokki stools will help those children having difficulty with movement.
