This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Help me give my students a fun day during recess. My students are struggling to come to school since our COVID outbreak. They seemed unmotivated to come to school and the absenteeism is 48%. I want to give them an unforgettable experience by playing sports with them during recess.
This will improve attendance while making them fit!
Being active and playing sports is a great strategy to get kids to school! The other day we had Valentine's Day celebration and they had a great time playing with balloons. I want to take it a step further and fill the room with bouncy balls and inflatables. I want to use the disco lights to make the atmosphere exciting and playful. Kids love playing sports and being active.
