This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students use whiteboards, markers, and erasers daily for various activities. They use them to work through math problems during independent practice, which helps reduce paper waste, to answer questions during whole-group instruction, and to share ideas during group work. However, the markers often run out quickly, get lost, or have missing caps. Additionally, the erasers wear out after a few uses. As a result, students end up erasing their work with their hands, causing marker smudges on their hands by the end of the day.

The LCD drawing tablets will allow students to perform the same tasks they do on whiteboards but without the issues tied to markers and erasers.

These tablets will offer a cleaner, more efficient way for students to work, eliminating the need for dry-erase markers and the mess they create.
