Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am requesting Target Net sets to enhance our adapted and regular physical education classes. At our school, both students with disabilities and those from general education classes play together during recess and PE. As a Title I school in an economically challenged area, all of our students receive free breakfast, and many face barriers that prevent them from playing outside of school due to safety concerns. We have 12 classes, half of which are special education, serving students with autism, intellectual disabilities, physical disabilities, learning disabilities, and language delays.
As the adapted physical education teacher, my goal is to create more opportunities for these students through a variety of games and activities.
Target Net sets are versatile tools that can be used in numerous fun and engaging activities, helping students develop their motor skills, coordination, and social interaction.
