This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My school is a PreK-5 school located in Fulton County. We are a school with students from many cultural and economic backgrounds. We are a Title I school with a mission to help all students reach their full potential.

My students enjoy hands-on learning, exciting graphics and learning that is personalized to their specific needs .

They are so eager to learn and show what they know. Each student has their unique way of learning. Happy, growing and learning describes us.

My Project

My students need games and activities that will help them with their math efficacy. My kindergarten students are responsible for learning shapes, numbers, measurement, making 10, addition and subtraction. The centers I am requesting touch each of these standards and more.

Kindergarten students need concrete materials that they can touch, see and manipulate to build their math competency.

These instant centers are just the right tool to support my little learners. These activities will be used during small group time to reinforce the standards that I have taught. The instant centers will help change the trajectory of my students lives by hooking them on math.
