My students need new books to enhance our library based on their reading levels and needs.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. M.'s classroom raised $495

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are in a self-contained special education classroom in New York City. They are in grades 3, 4, and 5. These students require a smaller class setting to meet their needs. In a smaller setting, I am able to meet more of their individual needs and help them continue to grow.
Many of these students don't have many books at home and adding more to my library will allow my students to be able to take books home at night.
I have been with this class for 3 years and have seen them grow tremendously in reading. Being in the same classroom and with the same class, many of our books have been read and the library is starting to get boring.
My Project
The students will be using these books daily in the classroom and also at home. These books will allow the students to have fun new reading material and continue to grow as readers. These new books will be so exciting for them and I can't wait for them to see their new library!
This project will improve my classroom not only this year but in years to come!
These books will make all the difference in making sure that students still enjoy learning and continue to build their love of reading!
