Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This year has been especially difficult to keep students motivated. It has been a challenge, to say the least. Keeping students motivated, and engaged, and building a positive community has been my top priority. These hoodies will be for our EcoRise Innovators club as well as student success for those who reach their goals in math and reading. It is teaching students to care about the world around them and be active participants.
Empowering students and giving them ownership through hoodies has had such a positive impact.
They receive hoodies for reaching goals as well as being a part of our EcoRise Innovators club. "Being the Change They Want To See in The World" Students also receive shirts for showing kindness and compassion. These hoodies have helped to motivate them towards being independent, kind, compassionate, and hardworking students. Now, they are telling me “I think so and so needs a hoodie for...” which is awesome!!
Please help me continue being able to make these great hoodies for students at my campus. I believe that the reason the students like them so much is literally anyone can earn one.
