My Project

Our school's 10th and 11th graders (Title I) are brimming with potential, but resources are limited. This project bridges the gap with air dry clay, globes, and sticky notes, igniting creative exploration of global literature.

Imagine crafting warriors from Chinese epics or Elizabethan marketplaces inspired by Shakespeare.

Clay transforms abstract concepts into tangible creations, deepening understanding and sparking discussions on culture and history.

Great stories often travel the world. Globes become vital tools to trace literary journeys and explore global influences on authors. Visualizing these connections fosters appreciation for a world interconnected through stories and shared experiences.

Sticky Notes are colorful squares. They aren't just reminders; they're catalysts for critical thinking. Students will brainstorm character motivations, dissect themes, or map plot lines, fostering lively discussions and honing communication skills.

Our goal? Engaged learners who actively explore literature, not just consume it. This project cultivates critical thinking, collaboration, and a lifelong love for learning.

Our students are a vibrant tapestry of island spirit and intellectual curiosity. This project caters to their diverse learning styles, empowering them to connect literature to their lives and express themselves creatively. With these tools, they'll become the next generation of storytellers, their imaginations ignited, and their global perspective expanded.
