Homeless Care Bags-Community Service

Help me give my students beanie hats, disposable toothbrushes, socks, lip balm, and more to give back to our community by helping others.

My Project

The Time For Kids service stars will help motivate my students to continue doing community service projects for our school. Our community is near a city and we have a homeless population that needs help and support. The health items along with socks and a snack will go into a Ziploc bag and will be brought to our community so they can hand it out to homeless people around our area.

I would like for our team to create about 300 homeless care bags for our local community outreach center in the city.

My kids will learn how to show empathy for others and kindness towards a population that needs our help in the community. We must take care of each other and speak out to raise awareness in our community. This is a way for my kids to do a little bit of their part and hopefully one day be advocates for the community they end up living in. It is good for our students mental health to help others. This also helps them learn how to give back to their community. Thank you for helping my kids learn more about solving the problems that arise in our community.
