Help me give my students these play kitchen and beauty items to make our housekeeping center feel real, like home!

My Project

I love my Pre-K students and I know they can not learn until they know their teacher loves them. As a teacher I need to provide all they need to be successful in learning at an early age. We are a family at school and Pre-K students love their family! They imitate and use their imagination from what they see at home. In our class we have a housekeeping center. It's their favorite place to play. We need to up date it and have new items to help portray a loving home environment.

Oral language is so important in Pre-k.

Students develop their talk through play. They learn from other students and what they know from their environment at home. We need these items to look like objects we see and use everyday! It is so rewarding to hear these conversations and watch how their oral language develops from just talking to their friends and role playing. Literacy is shown through these items as they come with words and letters to help our little ones see them over and over as they play. This will help them recognize letters and how they make words.
