My students need whiteboard clipboards, Expo dry erase markers for writing, and area rug to spruce up our classroom library reading area.

My Students

We are a Title I school located in a small rural town in the mountains of Western North Carolina. Our school is 100% free breakfast and lunch due to the number of low income families that attend our school.

I have a classroom full of amazing little learners.

They are curious, energetic, very social, and eager to learn. I've found that they work wonderfully together when they have opportunities to explore, converse, and create together. They also LOVE having technology incorporated into their learning. My students have a love for learning and I want to help cultivate that by giving them fun and meaningful learning materials.

I just came back to the classroom this year after taking some time off to be with my young children. Therefore, I came into a classroom where someone left and took all of their personal items. I am lacking many supplies and the current whiteboards are in bad shape.

My Project

My students use whiteboards every single day in our classroom for writing practice, literacy skills, math problem solving, and drawing time. These tools provide students with the opportunity to use differentiated writing tools (not just pencils) throughout the day.

My students need whiteboard clipboards and Expo dry erase markers so they can work freely around the classroom.

We often are up and moving around the classroom doing our learning. The great thing about these is that they are duel purpose- whiteboards AND clipboards! They can safely store their work on the clipboard without having to carry around loose papers, as well as have a hard workspace. A classroom set of clipboards is an essential and beneficial learning tool that we are lacking. I am hoping to get enough-whiteboard clipboards for each student in my classroom!

We would also love to have an area rug to make our reading area comfortable and inviting (not just cold white tile).
