This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My goal is to make my classroom a cozy space for all. How a classroom is setup, sets the tone for their experience. I want my students to feel that the classroom isn't just a place to learn, but a place where they are safe to grow —a home away from home. The items I picked out are to help create a calm, comfortable environment for my students to feel that they are free from judgment, see themselves represented in the space, be able to make mistakes, and explore the endless opportunities that learning has to offer.
