This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I plan on using our classroom decorations to help our environment feel more like home. We spend 80% of our day in the classroom learning and innovating. We need crafting breaks and seasonal celebration. My goal is to build memories with our students. I plan on using a lot of the tools I placed in my wish list for our sensory focus corner. Our students are hindered from their social-emotional growth due to Covid. They have been impacted the most and were isolated during a critical point in their lives. They require multiple breaks throughout the day while trying to bridge any learning gaps they suffered. These items can make a difference to these students.
