My Students

My students come to school every day wanting to learn. They are excited and curious about the world and how they can contribute to our classroom culture. I encourage my students to find and use their strengths to make the most difference and to also acknowledge their weaknesses and work hard to grow and improve.

Our students are leaders who have gifts and talents that will change our world!

A check box does not define them. We are a class composed of choir members, soccer players, gymnasts, musicians, artists, readers, chefs, jokers, mathematicians and scientists!

My Project

I'm asking for a dry-erase board to set up in my home. During this pandemic, our school is closed, but I do not want student learning to stop. I will use the white board to record myself teaching lessons and then post the videos for the students to watch to learn. I will also use the board to help students through struggles on daily video chats.

Even though we're stuck inside, distance learning is still possible!

With the right tools at my disposal, we can get back to living as close to normal as possible. With a whiteboard at home, students can see a familiar face teaching them. Parents will be so relieved that they're no longer struggling with Common Core math!
