My Project
I work with high school students with diverse needs, including learning and emotional disabilities and autism. My goal is to create a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom where students feel supported and ready to learn. This project will provide disinfecting wipes, tissues, and tools to keep Chromebooks clean, promoting a healthy environment. Snacks will be available for students who may not have one, ensuring no one goes without. A flexible seating chair will be added to our calm-down area to help students regulate emotions and feel more at ease and provide a safe space for them.
