Home Away From Home

Help me give my students plastic storage bins to organize recess toys along with new classroom decor to make the classroom feel like home.

My Project

The storage bins we currently use to store our recess toys and manipulatives are old, cracked, and have holes in them. In addition, they have sharp edges, posing a risk to the safety of our young children. It is essential that they have a safe and secure learning environment.

The new plastic storage bins with lids are very durable and long-lasting.

The side clips will help keep the bins closed so they don't spill and waste more learning time to clean up. The stackable design will help to maintain a neat and well-organized classroom environment.

To learn, children need to feel safe and supported. We are requesting new bulletin board paper and borders to help our classroom feel like our second home. Student resources, as well as, student work will be hung on the boards, so they feel like they are creators of the room as well. We need a new calendar and student affirmation cards for our mirror so the students can be reminded how important they are to our classroom.

Any donation, no matter how small, will go a long way toward ensuring that our children are safe and sound while in our care.
