This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Building a learning space in which students can feel as though they are inside their own home is the best feeling an educator can accomplish. Allowing students to use various furniture and spaces aside from the usual desk or table norm can help promote comfort in getting their work done.

The ability to choose the reading couch corner, bench, yoga ball and or carpet helps create options and choices that students want to take part in when looking for comfort to work on an assignment.

Students want to be involved in their learning so what better way than to bring the same comfort from their home to the classroom.
