My Students

There’s no place like home! There’s no place like home! There’s no place like home! I am constantly reminded of this notion when my students enter the classroom and they feel right at home when they step through the classroom threshold.

Without a doubt, my students are out of this world amazing.

Their love, joy, dedication, and trail-blazing spirits shine in everything they do. No matter what challenges are placed in front of them, they find a way or make one. Despite the many barriers they face every day, they show up to class ready to learn and show a sense of willingness to go above and beyond the bar given to them. No matter what, they are determined to be world changers and part of this is due to the home setting they experience when they step foot in the classroom.

All of my students participate in intensive studies that involve rigorous writing, drawing, and engaging in a variety of scientific /mathematical studies and take-home projects. However, their success is due in part to the home away from home feeling they experience when they enter the class and the idea that everything at home is provided.

My Project

The products I selected for my students will help to create a safe, warm and inviting environment that helps students feel like they have a home away from home. The materials selected will be used to showcase student work, aggressively monitor student work and to set a joyful learning environment that is exciting and fun to see every day. My students come from many walks of life and I hope to create a school environment which provides a home feel that caters to the whole child. Every material helps to maximize our learning time to ensure students are learning every second of the day. I have watched my students continually take charge of their learning and be excited about who they are due to the joyful learning environment that catered to their learning.
