My students have been learning about compassion and kindness through videos, in person presentations, and books. My students came up with the idea to show kindness to refugee families from Ukraine in the community. My students want to show kindness to these families by giving them educational toys. All of my students are on IEP and do not have a lot of opportunities to give back to their community. With your generosity, students will be able to carry out their vision to bring educational toys to refugees in our community. Dolls and educational toys will bring a smile to the children face as my students spread a little sunshine and kindness with their own special light. Educational toys will not only be fun and give entertainment, they will help children and their families adjust to American culture and language. In the process, my students will apply ways to show kindness and build a foundation to continue to give back to their community.
When you give to this project you are teaching students with exceptional needs leadership, goal setting, kindness, and real practical ways to share kindness in their community.
Students will learn how to set goals, achieve goals, and apply ways to show kindness to others.
My students are eager to give back to their community and share kindness with refugee children. My students will climb Maslow Hierarchy of needs and give back to others and see their very own kindness project carried out.
