Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We work hard throughout the school year learning how to read, do math, and write multiple sentences. Part of the social studies curriculum involves learning about different holidays and traditions that people celebrate throughout the year. This is why I love celebrating each holiday with my students! I love to provide everything for my class celebrations as many of my families are unable to provide due to financial insecurities.

Along with the holiday lessons, crafts and activities, I am wanting to provide my class with more supplies and gifts to support my teaching. Like I said before, due to financial insecurities most families are unable to provide the fun gifts and supplies needed to make the holidays as fun as they should be. Thank you for helping make this possible!
