Holiday Stockings for Heroes

My Project

Community service learning hours are required for students to graduate. I asked how they were to get these hours and various options were presented, with a teacher sharing how they still volunteer. Students wondered how they could help soldiers and were told about the Soldiers' Angels Holiday Stockings for Soldiers campaign.

Help my students create stockings for the Holiday Stockings for Soldiers campaign.

Students selected items from the list of approved materials for the stockings, which they will assemble. Each stocking will have at least one student card to spread holiday cheer and kindness. The stockings will be delivered to a central location for distribution to active duty deployed service members and/or veterans.
