This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am thrilled to be teaching math and science to my incredible sixth graders this year! These are my favorite subjects, and I just love this age group. My students are enthusiastic about learning new things and are full of energy!

Our school has a spectacular staff and incredible community support.

Even though we are located in a low socioeconomic area, it is clear that parents want the best for their children by their active involvement.

My students face many daily challenges, as many come from foster homes or might be experiencing homelessness. However, they always come to school with dazzling smiles, ready to have fun learning!

My Project

This school year has been a challenging one for students and teachers. Distance learning has been an adventure these past few months. As we finish up this crazy year, my 6th graders will have two weeks off for the winter holiday.

Many of my students may not receive much during the holiday season, so I want to make sure they get a few items from school.

They will love the Mad Libs, WikkiStix, necklaces, and sticky hands. I think the candy cane flavored Pop Rocks will be their favorite.

By contributing to this project, you will ensure 50 children receive fun and educational gifts this holiday season.
