My Students

My students come into the school full of excitement. Before they enter the classroom, they are prompt with telling me the answer to a multiplication or division problem to get their brains ready for all the new and exciting material of the day.

I teach at a Title I school in Tempe, Arizona.

We try to provide as much support to our students as possible. Some students receive lunch bags sent home for the weekend and others are getting extra tutoring after school, as well as tutoring during school. Although my students face hardships outside of school, they try their best to keep positive and be the best them they can be.

My Project

The materials I am requesting are to provide a fun Holiday Party for my 3rd grade students. I want to show them that I recognize all the hard work they have been doing these past couple of months. As well as show my appreciation for them coming to school everyday giving their all.

Covid has had a major impact on students across the world.

I want to show them that they are seen and give them a break before Winter Break to express my gratitude towards them. I hope this project gets funded because my students really deserve it.
